I love the KeyFinder DA. The first snag I hit was trying to make a copy of the Emergency disk as they recommend. No 800K diskette has enough room to duplicate their disk. So I guess you're forced to use the original. Installing from backup floppies (I made a 1.4 Meg floppy for a backup emergency): 1. When I inserted the second disk, it complained about the disk not being locked as they recommend. I ejected and locked it. 2. Before inserting the installation disk as requested at the end, I locked it too. I guess that was a stupid thing to do, but I bet I'm not the only one who does it. 3. The Mac froze up, so I rebooted. The installation had not been completed. 4. I threw everything away and started over. This time all three backup disks were locked. At the end of that installation it froze up again but at least it was installed this time. It found a problem with one of the tour diskettes that I let it fix because I couldn't remember which one was unusable. It was the other tour diskette that is not recognized at all, so Norton couldn't see it either. A disk that is getting read errors checked out OK. Another one that the Mac wants to initialize seems to be beyond help. These are all diskettes. My hard disk is fine and better stay that way having just replaced it. Shirley Kehr
