Restarted from single finder instead of MultiFinder and it sailed completely through to the end with no problem. I haven't tried 'Easy' mode. Of course I went straight to 'Expert' mode 8^) I'm happy with NUM. There were some startup headaches, but the defrag'er is great, and worth the price by itself.
