I thought that the problem with PICTs in Word was only with copying
and pasting between Word and other applications like Expressionist
and MathType. Has anyone else experienced the loss of graphics in the
process of saving a Word document? I'd like to know if I should start
worrying!!

Since getting Word 4.00B I no longer experience the difficulties in
copying a graphic back out of Word for editing in MathType. Before getting
version B it happened with regularity. The problem that I was having was
fixed by the new version.
