It lets you do additive synthesis on your mac (FM too!) and then allows you to transfer the sample to any number of samplers (emax, ensoniq, eII, prophet 2002, etc...) It's a good program, but I haven't seen it in a while. I think its another digidesign product, but I'm not sure. Alchemy is another AWESOME sample editing program-- similar in function to Universal Sounddesigner... Check it out! Mike Sig?? Disclaimer?? Why should I??
