I am interested in upgrading a Mac IIcx 4-bit video card to 8-bit. I understand this is only a matter of installing some new chips. Questions: 1) What kind of chips and where can I get them, and how for how much $? 2) Can I indeed install them myself. 3) Will this upgraded board perform identically to a normal 8-bit card, speed, and quality wise? Thanks in advance. Please reply to me in e-mail, since I don't normally read this newsgroup. =steve= robiner@oberon.usc.edu
