In particular, I am interested in previewing Latex files on a mac screen. I have Latex generated dvi files on a Sun4 (or on Sun 3/60) which I can download to the Mac at home. Either suntools or X emulator would do. I have a mac plus, 2.5MB RAM and 40MB HD. I have a program called Texview (or something of that nature) which should in theory allow me to preview latex files on the mac. Has anyone used this utility ? Is it as simple as downloading a latex *.dvi file to the mac and previewing it using Texview ? Thanks for your help.
