I couldn't figure out why a section of code wasn't working so I disassembled it - the compiler messed up "flag |= 512"! But, inserting a printf one line above caused it to compile correctly. I can't live with those sorts of problems. Now I am ready get MPW C or C++. Do I have to join apda to get them? What is the cost? What is included? Thanks for the help. Jim
