I am trying to find out how to modify the device driver for the Mac+
keyboard so that I may use another keyboard with a somewhat similar
protocol. Upon looking through _Inside Macintosh_ there are
descriptions for various drivers but not for where the Keyboard driver
is and how it handle key up/down events. The serial protocol is
described etc. but what I need to know is what system interface code
would have to be written and what vectors would have to be modified
etc. Does anyone know how to do this or where to find out?  Is this
even possible, or is all this etched it in rom?
