I have tried the command: # dd if=/dev/rst0 count=100 of=ostape1 --> to copy the tape to disk which copied approximately 36 megabytes from the tape to the disk and, # dd if=ostape1 of=/dev/rst0 --> to copy the disk file to tape This produced a tape with 36 megabytes of information on it, but attempts to boot from this tape failed.
