After processing 15 epsffiles for dvips' \input{epsf} \epsffile{somefile.eps} syntax, TeX spit out the following message: ---------c------------c-----------c--------- (/usr/local/lib/tex/inputs/epsf.tex ! No room for a new \read . \ch@ck ...\else \errmessage {No room for a new #3} \fi \alloc@ ...\advance \count 1#1by\@ne \ch@ck #1#4#2 \allocationnumber =\count ... l.34 \newread\epsffilein ? ------c-----------c----------c---------c------- I have one more epsfile to process.
