Thanks to those who answered my previous query about the dotless i
problem.

I'm using Latex and Bibtex.  Is there a simple way to get the
bibliographic references at the end to appear uniformly in a smaller
font, say 9pt, when the document itself is in 11pt?  There are
mathematical symbols (between $$) in some of the references, if
that makes it harder.
