We are going to transfer all our applications from the SUN machines running 4.3 BSD UNIX to the IBM RS/6000 (AIX 3). Prior to transfer of our applications, the following software[s] will have to be installed on the RS/6000 are:- * MU-PROLOG * RCS * XLISP Has anyone out there has any experience in porting the above software[s] on to a RS/6000. Can anyone give me some pointers as to what are the differences between the 4.3 BSD UNIX and AIX 3. What changes should I make to the "makefile" to install the above mentioned softwares successfully? any pointers will be much appreciated lukose@deakin.oz.au ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Dickson Lukose | UUCP : ..!{uunet,ukc,mcvax}!munnari!deakin.OZ.AU!lukose Dept.
