Seems there is a bug in the kernel configuration programs or maybe I did something. My problem is I installed my system just fine. I have a pretty base system, 8 port card and wangtek tape drive. Tonight I decided to add TCP and sysadm installpkg fails while trying to instll the 'sl' driver complaining about the mdevice file not being there. Well, it *was* there, one of the id* programs erased it. I noticed this once before on another system while removing TCP. I put mdevice back and when I tried the install again, it went away again. Anyone know what is going on here? I am not sure how to install TCP with this going on. Thanks in advance Tim Brown towers!comcon!tim
