I just got my new VP/ix package, but I can't seem to
access my floppy drives or the COM1 line. When I
try to take a directory of the floppy drive, VP/ix
errors out without ever trying to access the floppies.
When I start up VP/ix, I get: 'Error reading COM
device'. The config file points at tty1A and I'm the
only user on the system, so I can't figure where
VP/ix thinks it should be looking.

If anybody has any experience with these problems,
I'd be greatful for some insight.
