Earlier on the net someone said that there was problems with the program
smartdrive and certain drive types.  The recommended action was to remove
this from your config.sys.  Upon reading this I removed it immediately.  My
hard disk is already cache through hardware and so I didn't see any slow
down.  My biggest problem is my mouse driver.

I would suggest removing smartdrive and then see what happens.

Does any one know what windows uses smartdrive for anyway?
