The recommended action was to remove this from your config.sys. Upon reading this I removed it immediately. My hard disk is already cache through hardware and so I didn't see any slow down. My biggest problem is my mouse driver. I would suggest removing smartdrive and then see what happens. Does any one know what windows uses smartdrive for anyway?
