I seems to work fine on most "commercial" gifs, but gifs that I have converted (using Hijaak) from an Apple scanner end up looking like the horizontal sync is misajusted when set for a Windows background. Also, color gifs captured with my Computer Eyes capture board end up looking like a freaked out inverted image.
