If I issue the command:
	rcmd ssg0 xterm -display ssg2:0

the programs which use the screen size (more, vi, rn) understand the size
of the window.  On the other hand, if I issue:
	xterm -e rlogin ssg0

all program remain convinced that the window is the size defined by the
termcap entry, regardless of the window's actual size.

Why?
