I am looking for tools and/or experience to help design a quality
assurance program on a new GUI product.  This new product will be
implemented under X, Presentation Manager and Windows.  Is anyone
doing QA on a more sophisticated level than "banging away until
it breaks?"  Perhaps there are debugging tools I can use for this.

What I would love to have is a tool that can record a graphical
session and allow me to compare it against a previously saved
one.

If anyone can contribute their experience or point me in a helpful
direction, they can reply via E-mail.
