I saw an ad in BYTE magazine for a book entitled THE SECOND
BEGINNER'S GUIDE TO PERSONAL COMPUTERS FOR THE BLIND AND VISUALLY
IMPAIRED, published by the National Braille Press.  Prices given
were $12.95 for braille or cassette and $14.95 for print.  The
address given for orders was:

The ad had a disclaimer "NBP is a nonprofit braille printing and
publishing house".  And to quote the ad, "This comprehensive book
contains reviews, written by blind users, of software that works
with speech."
