I also found that the fast stdio C news includes was incompatible with 386/ix stdio. My memory of just what was incompatible is a little foggy now, but your note looks real familiar. I was never worried about it though as I find the 386/ix stdio library to be pretty fast as it is. According to this morning's log file, we processed (typically) 4-8 articles per second yesterday and last night. Occassionally, this dipped to 2 or 3 per second. (C News is running on a 20Mhz 386, ESDI drive). -Larry
