There are a few good articles on this subject in Circuit Cellar Ink and in Electronic House Magazines. I don't remember the exact issues. If you need more info mail back to me and I will look it up. CCI had the most descriptive article on CEBus in general. TI has a data sheet packet on their CEBus chip set. I am starting a Home Automation business in Colorado (part time), please contact me with any questions and I will try to point you in the right direction if I can't answer it. Another source of info is misc.consumers.house, they often discuss topics related to home automation. Other good magazines/newsletters are Audio/Video Interiors, Custom Home Automator, Electronic House Intelligence report, and Pathfinder Home Automation Journal. I don't know of any specific books on the subject. There are a few IEEE transactions which carry articles about automation topics, especially in Japan. Hope this is of help...
