I saw something similar in a good book (with a silly cover and title) "How to make your own laser, [can't remember the rest]" It's thick, about 300 pages, and has several projects in it. One of them I think, has a plans to build a nigh-vision aid. It consisted of a flyback, oscilator, voltage multiplier, IR tube (6032), and a nice and to the point message that elderly people with pacemakers should not touch it! ;-) I believe it has addresses of companies that manufacture parts. It also included a "specs" sheet for the IR tube (If I remember correctly, that is...) By the way, it has some other "neat" projects like lasers and a 30Watt CO2 laser that you can build by yourself (need a HeNe for setup)... Take care and have fun (in that order :-) -- _______________________________________________________________________________ "The Force will be with you, always."
