Hello, my name is Ian Thomas & I'm interfacing either an AI language shell,
written in Prolog or Lisp,or dare I say it a "procedural language" shell,or 
via a commercial shell like Xi-Plus/Leonardo/
Crystal or possibly a neural net, to an Infrared Spectrophotomter, for
interpretation and analysis.This will either be online, via RS232c communication
or for accessing a database application.

I'm wondering if  any one out there who has experience of this type of
Computational Instrumental Chemistry/Chemometrics, even if it is Near IR
or FTIR could please contact me via e-mail with possible references, advice,
etc.
