I've gotten several messages about the problem (I split the CPU and NDP tests for just the above reason!) I've been looking at code used in other programs, and did notice that it uses the code: MOV AX,0 OUT F0,AX just before trying the coprocessor codes. What does the above do? Will it help? I'm working on the next version, it'll detect Desqview and Windows 3, and have a Black&White mode, along with some more bug fixes (some year maybe I'll get that CPU/NDP detection to work right!!! :-) ) Andrew Rossmann andyross@ddsw1.MCS.COM
