At our department we need some comprehensive plotting package covering
curves, surfaces, sections etc. to process simulation data for
presentation purposes. Obviously, we would prefer some freely available
package in source form and understand that the NCAR package is
something along those lines. Could someone tell us whether we are on
the right track, how we can get it (I see a HUGE ncar.tar on some
servers, but it is too big to transfer) , how it compares with other
products (say DISSPLA or UNIRAS) and anything else that might be of
importance for us?
