I tried that program on a dozen or so DECStations 3100/5000 running Mach and
it did nothing.  On Sun-4s running Mach it dumps core with an EMT trap [I
guess it should have caught that, uh ?].

Jumping to conclusions without ascertaining facts can only get
you bad dreams.
