 Sergei Baranoff, Leningrad Institute of Informatics and Automation
 and recent Rochester Forth Conference invited guest speaker, has
 released this F83 compliant minimal Forth kernel. It was co-developed
 on ES Mainframe (IBM 360/370 compatible) under OS and CMS, SM-11420
 (PDP-11 compatible) under Unix, and PC ES-1840 (IBM PC clone) under
 ms-dos making it operable under all current Soviet architectures.

 There is a lot of confusion about BBL, Roedy Green's public domain
 32-bit Forth and Abundance, the Business support system that runs
 under BBL. Many think BBL is huge !!! - NOT true. Here is BBL in 
 executible form, having been compiled on a 286 without a math co-
 processor. It extracts to 27065 bytes. By comparison F83Y bare bones
 kernel is 30080 bytes, eForth is 15104 bytes and Sergei Baranoff's
 Beta is 14998 bytes.
 There are no docs with this posting. They are available as file 2101
 for BBL docs in MS Word format and 2102 for ASCII format.
