I just found out that some of the macros don't expand on the mailer's
argv line after the initial attempt of delivery. For example the 
$i -macro (queue id) evaluates to nothing on queue runs. I suspect there
must be a reasonable explanation to this. Anyone care to explain?

BTW, I'm using ULTRIX V3.1D's sendmail (5.57/Ultrix2.4-C), in case
this has something to do with versions...
