I reckon the time has come to take the plunge and get some harddisk. I almost exclusively run MINIX rather than TOS so it is important that the drive runs under MINIX. Also I do not intended to buy a real ATARI harddisk as they seem too expensive. Can anyone tell me of any restrictions that I should be aware of ? There seem to be a number of 50M SCSI drives available for around 450 pounds that look suitable. I suppose that the worst case is that I have to write a device driver for it or is it the case that some drives are totally unsuitable for MINIX (seems unlikely). So if you run a non-atari harddrive with minix I'd be grateful if you would let me know you're experiences. I'll summarise any feedback I get.
