A couple weeks ago I posted a request for recommendations on C cross development systems for the Hitachi HD64180 family. Thanks to all of you who responded. (I'd be happy to send a summary of the replies to anyone who asks.) Now, I find myself having to ask the same question again, this time about the Motorola MC68HC11 microprocessor. The two companies that have been suggested thus far are Avocet and Archimedes. Does anyone out there who has used either or both of these have anything good (or bad) to say about them? Are there others I should know about? As usual, thanks in advance.
