I have a 2000 with a GVP 40 Meg hardcard, and I am looking to buy a
hard drive maintenance program (something like Norton Utilites for
the IBM).  A recent article in Amiga World seems to steer me towards
a program called The Disk Mechanic.  I was wondering if anyone has
ever used this utility, and if they have any comments.  Or, has
anyone found a program to do the job better?
 
The two utilities that I need the most are for back-ups and for
unfragmenting files.
 
Any comments would be greatly appreciated.  Please send replies by E-mail
if possible, because the volume on this newsgroup is pretty hard to
keep up with.
