You can have it all in one, or as many as you like. Remember that each partition eats a significant amount of memory for buffers. >Which (or what kind of) interfaces and HDs can I use, The A590 is nice and fast, in particular with a Quantum drive. Supra, GVP, ALF and probably others make nice A500 SCSI drives as well. Some can be bought in 100M configurations, while in others, (A590 at least), you take out the old drive and plug in another one. Quantums usually give the best results. Several of the controllers have sockets for 2 Megabytes of Fast ram - with a HD, you'll find yourself burning ram at an incredible rate. My 3M is what I'd consider minimum for what I'm doing (DTP, programming, networking). BTW, someone else asked for a SCSI interface for A1000 that'll support SCSI-direct. The A590 does so, and works on the A1000 (facing the wall :-)) >their cost in USA. or Europe ? Can't really tell, sorry. Get a magazine like AmigaWorld/AmigaWelt etc. -Henrik -- | Henrik Clausen, Graffiti Data (Fido: 2:230/22.33) | | ...{pyramid|rutgers}!cbmvax!cbmehq!adspdk!hclausen | \__"Do not accept the heart that is the slave to reason" - Qawwali trad__/
