     I'm looking for a shared Amiga library or linked C library that will
provide a function that takes as input an Ascii character code and outputs
the raw-key-code and qualifier code needed to produce that Ascii character
using the CURRENTLY INSTALLED keymap.
     I believe I've seen mention of a freely distributable function or
library that does just that, in this newsgroup.  If anyone could provide
me with a pointer to such a function I would greatly appreciate it.  A
FTP site name and filename would be ideal...
