How to fix? Message-ID: <2285@apss.apss.ab.ca> Date: 13 Aug 90 19:32:36 GMT Distribution: comp Organization: Alberta Public Safety Services Lines: 16 My 1000 (512+1.5Mb Inboard, 1.3) is suffering frlom random crashes. As far as I can tell, the chip memory is spontaneously fragmenting. At least that's what "avail" tells me. All of a sudden the largest chunk drops to appx 1-10K and if I'm lucky I can exit gracefully and reboot. This happens regardless of what is being run and seems to occur fastest is I run nothing at all. My amiga is fairly early ('86) so I have grounded the pals and 68000. I've also upgraded the pals. Any hints, suggestions or strategies would be most appreciated, tx, neil nmm@apss.ab.ca
