It also seems that the Palomax interface doesn't like my Alegra memory
expansion for my 1000 (or vice versa). 

The 1000 comes up, loads kickstart, and warm resets itself endlessly.

Has anyone had a similar problem when using the pass-through of the PAlomax
or with using an Alegra board with other peripherals?

Sigh.
