The graphics portion might be slow, since it'll be coming through a 9600 baud serial line. How easy would it be? Well, Apollo provides source to emt in /sys/source/emt, so you can make it accept any escape sequence you want. You can also have it start up in RAW mode instead of COOKed, re-configure the serial port at startup, or even have it invert your screen and shut down the node. :-) Seriously, good luck to you.
