Come to think of it, that's the second time I've referred to that book ever! Well, according to Operating the DSP80A/DSP90 (revision 1 November '85) you just press the button, though I would say that on my 80A (I don't need no steenking 68020!) you do have to hold the button pressed for about a second before the thing will shutdown.
