I have a IIgs with a PCT installed. I've had the PCT for three months now. Till today ...no problems. This evening while in the finder, I executed the program to activate the PCt and get me in MSDOS land. This usually causes the "clear & jump" {no other way to describe it} and then I get the usual messages while memory is being sized etc. Well tonight the moniter displayed horizontal bars, as if I had lost the horizontal sync. Powering cycling the monitor relieved the problem. All is well until I run another program which fiddles with the screen's attributes {still trying to localize it further} and the problem comes up again. I can't seem to make the problem happen in Apple mode. It therefore seem certain it is PCT hardware related. The obvious choice would be the color switch board. Has anyone experienced this problem? /chris ============================================================================= | Chris Shatara | Internet: shatara@islnds.enet.dec.com| | Opinions expressed are | DEC Easynet: islnds::shatara | | mine and mine only! | UUCP: ...!decwrl!islnds!shatara | =============================================================================
