I have found best results with a program called ps2form from terminator. It is a little tos program that formats disks to make them usable on IBM pc com- patables (including the PS/2's, which apparently have some disk quirks). I have never had a problem with them. Oh, if your disks stop working for no reason (ie as soon as you use them on your ST the pc compatibles no longer recognize them) suspect a virus!!! That is how I found out about mine.
