The recoverable trashcan does function as advertised. For DC Desktop to move files to the trash directory when a delete operation is performed, do this: 1) Configure DC Desktop from the DC Configurator so the toggle option button reads: Permanently Deletes Files 2) Save your configuration to DCDSKTOP.PRG in your AUTO folder. 3) Check to make sure the TRASH Directory in the configurator and the actual directory you have created on your drive are both the same. You do not need to reboot to have this take effect, it is immediate. This will make the delete operation default to a recoverable delete.
