Keywords: Vendor, Hard Disk, P5.1, WD2010 Message-ID: <26091@bellcore.bellcore.com> Date: 16 Aug 90 02:30:35 GMT Sender: news@bellcore.bellcore.com Distribution: na Organization: Bell Communications Research, Inc. Lines: 19 My purchasing department here at Bellcore has me in a bind. I had a verbal commitment from Dirt Cheap Drives (Texas) to sell a new Priam 519 for $999 (almost three weeks ago). My boss approved the purchase, the acquisition agent approved the purchase, but the purchasing agent tried to find a better deal and now (apparently) Dirt Cheap Drives no longer has any >100mb ST506 drives in stock. I need another vendor with drives in stock! Sigh ;-( Without any luck yet, I'm trying vendor after vendor in Computer Shopper. If someone out there has recently bought a LARGE drive that will fit my (suitably modified) 3b1, please email any information regarding your purchase, and I'll summarize the results of my search to the net. I have the full height monitor base, etc. so I'm game for any ST506 drive that will format to >100mb. Thanks, everyone!
