Hi,

A friend of mine and I want to exchange system independant files (TIFF 
scanned images) via e-mail.  As usual we need to encode the binary file 
into all-ASCII for the mailer.

Do you know of a VMS resident program that encodes and decodes the 
Macintosh BinHex 4.0 standard?

I'm the guy with the Mac, so I don't read this newsgroup.  Please reply 
via e-mail instead of posting to this newsgroup if you can help.  If you 
really want to post to a newsgroup, try comp.sys.mac.misc.  I'll see it
