Sorry for the delay, but things have been crazy at work.

I received many responses from my earlier post concerning TCP/IP solutions
for the HP-3000.

The following response sums it up:

I'm now off talking to Wollongong about the possibility of having the
HP run DNS ( Domain Name Services ) for host name lookups.  Initial
repose from the Wollongon sales-person was "I'm sure we have it ".  I'm
not quite so confident. If I find anything else out, I'll post.
