Take a small, flat-bladed screwdriver and pop those suckers out!
This is especially easy since the keys are right next to the solid
surface of the keyboard border; it acts as a nice fulcrum for
levering those guys out.

I have the liberated keys scotch-taped above the unused function keys
on the upper right-hand side of my keyboard so I don't lose them.
