	I need to find a faster way of translating ASCII text files (DOS
text Files in Word Perfect lingo) to Word Perfect 5.1.  I know that if
you simply retrieve the file from the List Files screen (#1) WP 5.1 will
translate it for you.  However, this takes a VERY long time (longer than
in older versions if I remember correctly).  No, there is no ASCII to 
Word Perfect choice in the Convert program.  Any ideas or suggestions of
programs, preferably public domain or shareware??  Thanks.

p.s. If it was just an occasional batch file it would be no problem, but
I am constantly working with close to 1 meg downloads off of different
databases (CD-ROM).  I usually let them convert overnight or if I have to
leave for a while... a *long* while...:-(
