Well, (1) I'll guess you're using AIX, and (2) I'll guess that AIX sendmail is reasonably similar to BSD sendmail. Rebuild the hashed version of the sendmail.cf file. This is officially referred to as the 'configuration freeze' file, I believe, and the command to rebuild it with BSD sendmail is: /usr/lib/sendmail -bz But I'd check your manual entry first.
