There are many doors that remain locked in the game, there doesn't appear to be any way to handle the rockslide, and the ledge will always crumble. I did notice that the Sphinx will ask you different questions most of the time, and that whatever item it asks you to bring it is not necessary for solving the game (at least I didn't get any). So I would imagine if you wanted to try and cut down on the number of potentially useful objects you could try checking that way. Greg Paul paulg@frith.egr.msu.edu
