While I can't speak for SuperMac, I believe the original question was mis- interpreted by Clark. It appears that the question is: Will the 8.24GC accelerate graphics operations occurring on a [separate] SuperMac monitor and card. If Fabian from SuperMac is around, he'll probably answer that for you. The main issue at hand is "does the SuperMac card support Nubus Block Transfer" since the 8.24GC card is supposed to accelerate any other video cards installed _IF_ they support Nubus Block Transfer. The Radius QuickColor accelerator accelerates video boards in the same way: by using Nubus Block Transfer. Block Transfer enables data to flow from the QuickColor (or 8.24GC) to the display card MUCH faster than by ordinary Nubus data transfer. -- ----- Steve Lemke, Engineering Quality Assurance, Radius Inc., San Jose ----- ----- Reply to: lemke@radius.com (Note: NEW domain-style address!!) -----
