Apple products have almost always been over-priced. Partly because of the large amount of R&D, and partly because they can get away with it. It is for this second part that I hold disdain. There are too many snotty-elitist-Mac-users who do not know the relative merits of other types and brands of computers, and have comments too narrow for discussion.
