( Of course I realize that if you run out of space you can't have anymore. ) Would a whole bunch of very small files result in a slow hard drive ? ( Like say 10000 1k files on a single 45meg hardrive. ) The reason I ask is that I am building something like a database and the software would be much simpler if I had a bunch of small files instead of a single large file that would have to be searched....
